ugh,
This is going to be so hard... helping someone quit smoking. I don't know how to help and I despise smoking. So far I have come off mean and annoyed becuase he is struggling with it. But I know support is the best thing so I must try harder! I need to quit being selfish and be a better friend! grrr

Hi Tina, Ready for School?
Grandma G has now learned how to comment on your blog so you will be hearing from her quite a bit now I'll bet! Have a good apartment tour tomorrow! Hope you like it and it works out for you and Cory!
Ok....some tips from someone who quit smoking successfully over 20 years ago...Pay attention to the things you do that make you crave a cigarette and when you are least likely to smoke. You will need to change some of your habits for awhile to accommodate these things. I found that I craved a cigarette the most after drinking coffee, after a meal, or when I was driving in my car. I also found that I would never smoke for at least a couple hours after brushing my teeth and I wouldn't smoke while chewing mint gum. Soooo....I would brush my teeth after coffee & meals (my dentist loved me) and I would chew gum or suck on minty candy when I drove my car. Just these little things helped me kick it. Hopefully your friend can kick it to. You're welcome to share my tips. Good Luck! See you next weekend!! Bring your suit for the hot tub too!
